We are sad to announce that we will not be holding any meetings of 100 Women Who Care for the forseeable future
due to the Health Crisis.
Under the current circumstances, and with the health of our members and the community in mind, our chapter meetings have been postponed indefinitely. We look forward to a future time when we can safely meet together again. Until such time, we encourage you to continue serving in whatever sphere of influence you have. We hope you and yours are able to stay healthy and strong during these unusual times.
At our February Meeting Meeting the Acorn Fund, represented by Alisha Bailey, reported on their usage of our funds and how they were able help members of our homeless community get back on their feet, have needed clothing and shoes for work and even a simple track phone to be reachable by potential employers due to our November donation. She was very excited about the impact made by our funds.
We heard from the three nominated charities and voted. Zonta's Families in Crisis was the winner of our funds this quarter. These will be used to help families as a one time stop-gap measure to keep their water and electricity running in an emergency, or for car repairs, house payments etc. We are excited to hear back from them in May!
Additionally, Racine Olson Law firm offered a corporate sponsorship and donated $250 to each of our runners-up, Suicide Prevention Program and the Compassion and Hope Pregnancy Center. Thank you to everyone who came!

Come See what it is aboutWe are a group of women committed to supporting our local community. Be part of an extraordinary group of women from all walks of life and diverse backgrounds who make an immediate impact in Pocatello.
100 Women Who Care Pocatello gathers four times a year for one hour to learn about local charities. We each donate $100 to a charity that the group selects. This combined donation makes a real impact! We hope to have 100 Women at our next meeting to reach our goal of a $10,000 donation to the selected charity. Join us at our next meeting to see how easy and fun it is! |
